While the December 6 release date for Vicky Kaushal’s ‘Chhava’ was announced long back, the December release date for Allu Arjun starrer ‘Pushpa 2’ was announced later. Its release date was also first announced as December 6, but later it was rescheduled a day earlier, to December 5.
Releasing a day after a big film like ‘Pushpa 2’ cannot be called a profitable deal for any other film. Therefore, the opinion of true film fans and sensible industry experts was that the makers of ‘Chhava’, which looks like a strong film, should release their film on some other date. It should not spoil its work in the stubbornness of clash.
Trade expert Taran Adarsh shared the new release date of the film along with the news of the postponement of ‘Chhava’ in a social media post. He told that Vicky’s film will now be released on 14 February 2025. This release date is special because 19 February is the birth anniversary of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. ‘Chhava’ is a biopic and its story is based on the life of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s son, Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. In such a situation, the new release date can prove to be a game changer for ‘Chhava’.
‘Pushpa 2’ ready to make a big bang
The entire promotional campaign of Allu Arjun’s ‘Pushpa 2’ is indicating that the opening of this film can challenge some big records of Indian films. People saw the star power of Allu Arjun and the brand value of ‘Pushpa’ in the trailer of the film a few days ago. This trailer, which got more than 100 million views on YouTube in the first 24 hours, has become one of the most viewed film trailers of Indian films.
